Cork Opera House is southern Ireland’s premiere venue for the best concerts, comedy, drama, dance, family fare, and, of course, opera. Located in the heart of Cork City, the Opera House has been a Cork cultural institution for nearly 160 years and will continue to strive to present and produce both indigenous and international top class acts for the people of Cork and further afield. This is a building to be proud of and a building which is proud to be pure Cork. Cork Opera House seeks to serve its city and surrounding region as a municipal theatre, offering its audiences a world class programme of events across all disciplines in the performing arts. Furthermore, it is a non-profit plc with charitable status.

Where can you park? The nearest & best value is Paul Street car par, which stays open until midnight.

For disabled visitors, there is a wheelchair lift on the ground floor that gives greater accessibility to the auditorium. The elevator is situated on the left side of the Opera House. This enables wheelchair user’s complete access to all levels of the Cork Opera House.
