While staying at the Rathmullan House, you will be able to enjoy the Donegal countryside's beauty from horse back thanks to four equestrian centres located near the hotel. Meandering along quiet by ways and tracks, encountering the odd sheep or two along the way, it is the perfect way to unwind, relax and forget the hectic lifestyle that many of us must endure these days.

Those four equestrian centres are:

- Golden Sands Equestrian Centre, Rathmullan.

Golden Sands Equestrian Centre provides the riding enthusiast with access to one of the most beautiful and unspoilt regions of Ireland. The Center’s aim is to provide first class service for horseman and horse in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Golden sands is surrounded by a rural landscape of unparallel beauty and diversity. Our experienced guides will introduce you to less traveled roads, country lanes and of course, the magnificent beaches from which the centre takes its name.
- Ashtree Riding Stables, Coole, Cranford, Milford.

Equestrian centre overlooking Mulroy Bay. Trekking and hacking along quiet mountain roads. Safety, quality and enjoyment guaranteed. Beginners welcome.

- Carrigart Riding Stables, Wood Quarter, Carrigart.

Trekking on beaches and sand dunes. Forestry trails. Riding lessons given.10 ponies / horses. Facilities: Hacking, trekking, trail riding and basic instruction. Open 7 days a week. Easter - November.
- Dunfanaghy Stables, Dunfanaghy.

The terrain in the area is ideal for riding through magnificent unspoiled scenery. Explore the beauty of the beaches, bogs, mountains and the surrounding country-countryside. There is provision for one hour rides on the beach for beginners as well as two and three hour rides and a full day for the more experienced riders.
