What to do:

  • Beaches: Sitting on the most westerly tip of Ireland and Europe, Kerry has some of the finest and unspoilt beaches you will find in the World.
  • Walking: The Kerry Way is one of the longest signposted walking trails in Ireland. It is approximately 215km long  (135 miles) and one of the most enjoyable ways to see the true Kerry if you are in to walking.
  • Fishing: If you are a keen fisherman or a novice then you will be spoilt for choice in Kerry. There is something for everyone's taste, be that lake fishing, river fishing, sea fishing or shore fishing.
  • Golfing: Some of the most acclaimed links and parkland courses in Ireland, many in exquisitely beautiful settings, are located along the Ring of Kerry and are played by golfers from all over the world.
  • Cycling: Kerry is an ideal spot for a cycling holiday whether it's just to hire a bicycle for a day or to take part in the world famous Ring of Kerry Charity Cycle that takes place each year in July.

How to get to Kerry:

  • Train: Train services to Kerry are provided by Irish rail. The three stations in Kerry served by rail are Tralee, Farranfore, and Killarney.
  • Bus: Bus service provided by Bus Eireann.
  • Ferry: The closest Car Ferry to Kerry is located in Ringaskiddy Co. Cork approx 90 minutes drive from Killarney.
