The Event

Four-time Major Champion & 2015 Race to Dubai Winner Rory McIlroy will Continue as tournament host on behalf of his charitable foundation and will be joined by a superb field of International Stars in vying for the Irish Open title. Over 100,000 fans attended the 2015 Dubai Duty Free Irish Open and The K Club is looking forward to welcoming record Crowds to the CO.Kildare resort in the Summer Of 2016.

The Course

The Palmer Ryder Cup Course is Guite simply, One of Europe's most Spectacular Courses. Designed by golfing legend Arnold Palmer, it hosted the game's greatest players during the 2006 Ryder Cup and eleven editions Of The European Open.

The Venue

The K Club is renowned for it's Guality and luxury, located approximately 35km (22 miles) from Dublin City Centre and only 38km (24 miles) from Dublin Airport. This magnificent resort Combines Old world Charm, Service and ambiance with modern Comforts in a luxurious setting. This will be the first time The K Club has hosted the Irish Open and whilst doing so will be celebrating it's own 25th year anniversary and the 10th year anniversary of staging the 2006 Ryder Cup.
