Malaysia

Welcome to Malaysia

Malaysia

Multiculturalism is what describes Malaysia the best: it is a country where people from different origins and religions  - Malays, Indians, Chinese and many other ethnic groups - live together in peace and harmony. This has lead to a varied culture, a place where you can find a varied cuisine, and a diverse range of events and festivals throughout the year.

You can easily find this diversity everywhere in Malaysia, including in its landscapes and cities. While the country is home to wonderful landscapes, such as ancient reefs, rugged mountains, sandy beaches and rainforests, it is also home to modern cities where you will find towering skyscrapers - for example Kuala Lumpur, one of two capitals of the country (the other one is Putrajaya). Kuala Lumpur is a very interesting city: its historic monuments, steel-clad skyscrapers, lush parks, mega-sized shopping malls, bustling street markets and trendy nightspots will surely keep you busy during your trip!
