It is less than a mile from Holetown in St James which is the largest city in the parish and home to a variety of restaurants. Fairmont Royal Pavilion Hotel is a luxury hotel offering 75 rooms set in lush tropical gardens. All the rooms have been decorated elegantly in a Caribbean Colonial style. There is a choice of rooms available from Oceanfront Deluxe guest rooms to beachfront Junior Suites. The Deluxe Rooms open up to glass front balconies with stunning views overlooking the ocean. The luxury suites are furnished with hardwood floors, cool tones and traditional furnishings. They have direct access to the beach and feature a private sun deck and outdoor living area. This hotel has two on-site restaurants called the Palm Restaurant and the Taboras Restaurant. They serve a variety of local and international dishes using exotic spices, tropical fruits and fresh seafood. Palms Restaurant has a live entertainment every night from a variety of local Barbadian artists showcasing music from jazz to contemporary. Taboras Restaurant is open for breakfast and lunch and offers a more casual dining experience. There is a breakfast buffet every morning and a selection of beach and poolside refreshments throughout the day. Guests can enjoy a day on the beach located right on their doorstep or if you prefer to relax away from the beach the hotel has freshwater outdoor pool with plenty of sun beds and loungers.
