Welcome to Panmunjom

Panmunjom

Panmunjom is a ghost village at the facto border between North and South Korea. Despite of the truce agreement of 1953, the two countries are still at war and the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) is occupied by a million guard. This zone is also the most heavily armed region in the world. But as strange as this may seem, it is a huge tourist attraction. A must-see is the powder-blue building where officials from the two countries meet sometimes. Panumjom certainly is the weirdest and most fascinating place you can visit in South Korea.
