Welcome to France

France is one of the most famous tourist destinations in the world. There are tens reasons why France attracts travellers from everywhere: beautiful cities, wonderful mountains, cathedrals, museums, le fromage (French cheese), chateaux, or just the French charm. Paris is nicknamed the City of Romance were everybody falls in love. You can also go and visit the beautiful Eiffel Tower and the amazing Notre Dame Cathedral. The Louvre Museum and the Picasso Museum show the historical masterpieces of legendary artists. The cities of Lyon and Marseille are also fascinating, with in numerous world-renowned French architectural masterpieces. Cannes, Nice, and St. Tropez provide some of the most wonderful beaches in the country. Visitors can experience the lovely French countryside as well, with its distinct culture and spectacular scenery. The towering Alpine peak of Mont Blanc to the sea cliffs of the Atlantic coasts. France is definitely the home of wines and cheeses. The popular Petit Swiss of Gervais is originally from Normandy, and not from Switzerland like everybody think. There are more than 400 assortments of cheese and 450 types of wine produced in the country. Furthermore French produces a good majority of the world's appreciated boozes, e.g. Mandarine Napoleon, Grand Marnier and Cognac. French people are known for good fashion and good food. They are polite people. The climate is more or less cold in most of the country, except in the mountains or in the northeast, with cool winters and warm summers.
