The resort is close to the larger Benitses, a charming town near the centre of the island in a coastal location. It is a popular fishing village surrounded by citrus trees and retains much of its original charm. Nightlife in the area is relaxed and appeals to all, choice is varied - with fish tavernas, traditional Greek coffee bars and many restaurants serving a selection of international and Greek cuisine.
