Welcome to Hotel Cala D'Or

The hotel is an ideal destination for a relaxing holidays in Majorca in a priviledged location above the sea. The hotel was built in 1932 by the initiative of Mr Veerburgh, a Belgian citizen who fell in love with the beauty of Cala D'Or. The original construction was only one building and only had 9 rooms. During the Spanish Civil War the hotel was converted into a militar headquarters, housing the officers who were serving in the battle and installed at the old arab fort at the entrance to Cala Llonga. When the war finished the hotel returned to its original destiny and after various renovations during the sixties, it underwent a complete restoration in 1987. Now it has all types of luxuries of a modern hotel and together with all its charm through the years of its construction. The hotel rooms are all equipped with satelite television, minibar, air - conditioning, safety deposit boxes, internet access, hair dryer, dressing gown and telephone. You can choose the location of the room either sea view or garden view. The hotel on the other hand has a bar, restaurant for the hotel clients and two cafeterias one by the pool and the other by the beach where you can also hire sun beds. The swimming pool is situated just above the beach and is climatized at 25 degrees we offer a free service of towels and sunloungers. We also have a sauna available for two people, jacuzzi and a fitness room.
