The bus and tram stops are both within walking distance of the hotel for those relying on public transport ## Location Located in a suburb of Amsterdam and only 10 mins from Schiphol airport, this hotel is surrounded by green spaces and gives easy access to Amsterdam and the rest of Holland. It is also located right next door to the sport and party centre De Kegel which offers many recreational facilities. ## Distance 20 kms to city centre 10 kms to the nearest airport (schiphol airport) 10 minute walk to the nearest metro station (poortwachter amstelveen) 20 km to the nearest station (schiphol) 1 minute walk to the nearest bus stop 15 km to the nearest fair site (rai) ## Rooms All the bedrooms are large in size and are decorated in beechwood red. They are very spacious and in very good condition. All the bathrooms have a separate bath and shower and are in pristine condition with two double sinks in black finish, a white floor and wall tiles, and a separate toilet. ## Restaurant Located on the ground floor, this is where breakfast is served. The buffet is in the centre of the room and the decor is slightly dated with florals and pale green wicker chairs. Located across from the hotel, 500m away in the party centre there are numerous restaurants where one can have lunch or dinner in a cosy, typically Dutch atmosphere and where one can also have a gastronomic meal. ## Exterior The building is a low rise, modern style block without any distinguishing features. ## Lobby The medium sized lobby is more stylish with marble flooring, large plants, and an unusual chandelier. There is also a balcony on the first floor which overlooks this area. The reception desk is situated to the right hand side and leads to a cosy corner with sofas and coffee tables, as well as to other public areas.
