Welcome to Canada

Canada

Canada is a multicultural destination and this is reflected through the many distinctive and diverse communities evident that can be found throughout the country. There are two official languages used in Canada; English and French, these are the most commonly used languages within Canada. There is a wide variety of ethnic communities and traditions throughout the land, combined with a neighbourly attitude making Canada a must see destination. Canada is a vast, large country and due to this you will need to take into consideration the distances between the cities, when in St John’s Newfoundland; one is closer to London than Vancouver!  Canada has been renowned for its physical beauty with its vast and varied terrain. From the beaches dispersed throughout the west coast, the breathtaking Rocky Mountains, to the bustling metropolitan cities or quiet provincial towns all full of warm, inviting people. Canada has something to offer every tourist. For those who want a relaxing stay one can find a sunny spot along the Pacific coastline or at one of the many large scenic lakes across the country.  For the traveller searching for a more adventurous time the peaks of the Rockies offer many opportunities for skiing, hiking, cycling and climbing. Travellers who are looking to enjoy world-class cities can visit Montreal, Toronto or Vancouver, and those with a taste for the small town life can visit any number of villages in the Maritime Provinces or in Quebec where you may even sample some freshly tapped maple syrup. Canada compiles a variety of sights, tastes and colours! Its northern climate makes Canada most favourable in summer. The summer season for tourists runs between May and September and sometimes October for most locations, but there are many activities to enjoy in the spring and the fall as well. The winter season in Canada sees temperatures reach sub zero temperatures making the winters cold and rough.
