Welcome to Sheraton Rio Hotel & Resort

The Sheraton Rio Hotel & Resort is the only hotel situated on the beachfront in a tranquil location between San Conrado and Ipanema Beaches. Just above it lie the hills, which are very green and scenic and offer a contrast to the ocean at the front of the hotel. Although all beaches in Rio are public, because of its unique and solitary position this feels as though it is a private beach. **Location** This hotel commands an enviable position in an oasis, surrounded by lush, tropical vegetation. It is the only hotel in the town which features a location right by the sandy beach. To one side of the hotel is the turquoise blue of the Atlantic, on the other side rise the green-covered mountains. **Rooms** All rooms feature their own balcony from which guests may enjoy a unique view of Rio de Janeiro and the world famous beaches of Ipanema and Leblon. With modern decor throughout, large windows in each room give a lot of light. The rooms include an en suite bathroom, a direct dial telephone, satellite/ cable TV, Internet access, a minibar and a safe. The air conditioning is centrally regulated. **Recreation** The hotel offers guests a large range of recreation opportunities and leisure activities. Guests may take advantage of the heated swimming pool, spa treatments (additional fee) and gym. **Meals** The hotel has three restaurants. Two are poolside restaurants, one pizzeria and one barbecue. The main restaurant is to be found on the 5th floor overlooking the sea.
