The Table Bay Hotel Set on the historic Victoria and Alfred Waterfront, the Table Bay Hotel is only 20 minutes from Cape Town¿s international airport and has all of the shops, bars and restaurants of the waterfront literally on its doorstep. Opened in 1997 by President Nelson Mandela himself, the Table Bay Hotel has 329 guestrooms which either look out across the bay to Robben Island Prison or across the harbour and city to Table Mountain. The hotels contemporary architectural style is entirely in keeping with its surroundings and each of its rooms are air conditioned and equipped with a butler station, honour bar and computerised safe as well as having a twice daily maid service and 24 hour in-room dining. In addition to luxurious guestrooms the Table Bay Hotel also features a superb swimming pool and Jacuzzi, a spacious poolside deck and a pool bar where you can soak up the summer sun and sip on glass of bubbly whilst enjoying the idyllic view of the Atlantic Ocean and Robben Island. Adjacent to the pool on the first floor there is a fitness centre (open daily from 6.30am to midnight) and the Camelot Spa which provides holistic and traditional treatments for the skin and body suitable for both men and women. Guests who would like to experience some of Cape Town¿s sandy beaches will find an hourly shuttle to and from Camps Bay Beach during the summer months. Camps Bay is the trendiest of Cape Town¿s beaches and attracts a fashionable mix of people. It is also a great spot to watch the fantastic sunsets.
